BIG BROTHER - 130 Double Cab

This 130 had lived a hard-working life, clocking up over 214,000 miles on a large estate out on the Fens. The brief from its owner was clear: restore it to “better than new” while keeping the original factory look intact. We carried out a full strip-down and rebuild, fitting a brand new crate TD5 engine and a galvanised chassis, and replacing every part that couldn’t be refurbished to the customer’s exacting standards.

The result is a Land Rover that looks as if it’s just rolled off the production line, yet carries its history with pride. Today it takes pride of place in the owner’s farming museum – a fitting home for a vehicle that has given so much service.
