Land Rover engine swaps
We can carry out almost any engine change within the Land Rover family, whether you are looking to refresh with a later diesel unit or move to petrol power. For example, replacing a 300 Tdi with a Rover V8 petrol engine gives you a very different driving experience but keeps everything within the Land Rover range. These swaps make use of proven components and allow you to enjoy a different style of performance while staying true to the brand.
Alternative engines
For those looking for more power or a completely different feel, we also carry out conversions to non-Land Rover crate engines. A common choice is the LS3 V8, which offers modern reliability, strong performance, and a huge step up in refinement compared to older factory engines. These swaps involve careful planning, fabrication, and attention to detail, ensuring the engine fits correctly and works smoothly with the rest of the vehicle.
Transmission swaps - Manual to automatic
We also offer gearbox conversions, moving from manual to automatic transmission. For some owners, this is about driving comfort and pleasure, especially in traffic or on long journeys. For others, it is a practical solution to avoid the heavy clutch pedal found on many older Land Rovers. An automatic conversion makes the vehicle easier to live with day to day while still retaining the strength and capability Land Rovers are known for.
