Remapping and
Performance
Our approach is straightforward. We tune engines in a way that improves performance but keeps reliability first. We do not push components beyond safe limits. Every change is tested and carried out with the aim of giving your Land Rover more usable power without reducing its lifespan.
Mechanical tuning - 200 and 300 tdi
For the 200 and 300 Tdi engines, improvements come from mechanical adjustments rather than electronic remaps. By changing the way fuel and air are delivered, we can make these engines stronger and more responsive.
This often involves fitting a tuned LDA pin to the fuel pump, adjusting the turbo actuator rod to increase boost in a controlled way, and adding a larger intercooler to keep intake temperatures lower. For greater gains, a hybrid turbo can be used for quicker spool-up and more airflow.
The result is an engine that pulls better, feels more responsive, and still keeps the durability that makes the Tdi so dependable.
Electronic remapping
Later engines such as the TD5 and Puma (2.4 and 2.2) are managed by an ECU, which means we can improve performance through software changes. By adjusting fueling, boost, and torque delivery, we can bring out the best in these engines.
A remap typically gives more power and torque, smoother acceleration, and stronger pulling ability. Many drivers also see better fuel economy because the engine runs more efficiently across the rev range.
Each map is tailored to how the vehicle is used, whether for daily driving, towing, long trips, or off-road work. The aim is a Land Rover that feels more capable and easier to drive, without compromising reliability.
