Land Rovers are part of our DNA. With more than 30 years of repairing, restoring, and driving them, we know these vehicles inside and out. From the simplest Series truck to the latest Defender, we bring decades of engineering skill to every job, backed up by a workshop that understands how these machines were built and how they should feel when they are right.

Our approach combines old-fashioned know-how with modern diagnostic equipment. On older Series and early Defenders, that might mean using traditional methods: listening to an engine, reading a spark plug, or tracing a fault through a loom with a multimeter. On later models such as the TD5 and Puma, it means connecting advanced diagnostic tools to read fault codes, monitor live data, and carry out software resets.

The key is knowing which approach to use, and when. With years of hands-on experience, we can quickly distinguish between an electrical fault, a fuel issue, or a mechanical wear problem. That ability to combine instinct with modern tools is what makes our diagnostics service different — it isn’t just reading a code, it’s understanding the full picture.

Our process

When you bring your vehicle to us, we begin with an initial inspection and a conversation about the symptoms you’ve noticed. We then carry out a structured diagnostic check, using traditional methods or modern tools as required. Once we’ve identified the issue, we give you a clear report and explain the options for repair. Only when you’re happy with the plan do we move forward with the work. This way you know exactly what is happening, why, and how it will be fixed.
