Wanda came to us after an accident in the first snow of winter left her in a ditch with a damaged chassis and front wing. She had too much character to leave behind, so we fitted a galvanized chassis and replaced the broken wing. Her back door had also seen better days, so that too was swapped out before we treated her to a full respray.

With new spats, wheels and tyres, she was looking sharp again – the kind of Land Rover that turns heads wherever she goes. To make sure she was as strong as she looked, we rebuilt the brakes, fitted a new turbo, and machined the exhaust manifold flat to cure her whistle. After a thorough service, Wanda was ready for the road once more – and off she went to her new owner, looking and driving better than ever.
